Theodoros Chatzidamianos, PT, MSc, PhD

Dr. Theodoros Chatzidamianos is a physical therapist based in Greece. He works as an Academic Fellow in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of West Attica and is the founder of ‘PhysioParkinson’, a company that provides physiotherapy services in individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. He completed his undergraduate studies in Physiotherapy in 2006 from the Technological Educational Institution of Lamia, Greece. He also holds a Master of Science degree (MSc in Physiotherapy) since 2009 in the field of musculoskeletal and respiratory physiotherapy and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree since 2019 from Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. His doctoral dissertation aimed to examine whether a community-based exercise and educational programme could produce short- and long-term antidepressant effects in depressed patients with Parkinson’s disease. Since 2010, he has been working in tertiary education in Greece and Cyprus (University of Thessaly, European University of Cyprus). He has published articles in international journals and is a member of the Panhellenic Physiotherapists" Association in Greece and of the Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom.
