Brittney Hooker, PT, DPT, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy

Brittney obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri in 2017. She completed her residency in neurologic physical therapy at Emory University (Atlanta, GA) in 2018. She obtained her NCS (neurologic clinical specialist) in 2019. Brittney worked as a physical therapist at Emory Brain Health Center (A Parkinson’s Center of Excellence) from 2018-2021. During her time at Emory, she was also a mentor for Emory"s neurologic residency program and a clinical instructor. In 2021 Brittney opened her own outpatient Movement Disorders PT clinic in Sandy Springs, GA - Synapse NeuroRehab and Wellness. Outside of the clinic, she continues to teach lectures/labs at Emory University DPT School and stays very involved in the metro Atlanta Parkinson"s community. Brittney is on the Parkinson’s Foundation of GA’s Advisory Board as well as the board for the Center for Movement Challenges (a Parkinson’s wellness center).
