About you
I received my Bachelor"s in Science (Kinesiology) from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI in 2015 and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2018. I have been working in the outpatient neurological specialty for the past 4 years where I primarily treat people with vestibular conditions (I have my certificate in Vestibular Rehab), Concussions/Traumatic Brain Injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Vascular Accidents, and Parkinson"s Disease.
I am an avid cyclist and triathlete, completing the Ironman 70.3 in 2021. I love to stay active in my free time by biking, hiking, swimming in open water, kayaking, tennis, soccer, and bowling. I also enjoy building things with my husband; currently building a bed for camping in our minivan, a deck attached to our house, and several garden boxes all of which are made out of recycled pallet boards.
