About you
Melissa is a registered Occupational Therapist practicing since 2003 and licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. She received a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at Rockhurst University. She has had PWR!Moves Certification since 2019, and has been certified in LSVT-BIG since 2016. She is currently working with residents in independent living, assisted living, and memory care to assist them in improving independence with activities of daily living and engagement in meaningful activities. In addition she has experience providing therapy in hospital and skilled nursing settings. She is proud to offer specialized treatments and education to people living with Parkinson"s in the community.
