Elton King, PT, DPT

Elton graduated from the University of Southern California with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He developed an interest in Physical Therapy due to a near-fatal encounter with Lyme Disease at the age of 13 which left him with neurological complications as well as Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. He was told he would never be able to run or perform any loaded weight-bearing activity ever again, but through the guidance of his physical therapist, he was able to make a complete recovery. Since his recovery, he sought out to accomplish all the activities he was told he would never be able to do again with a particular interest in powerlifting, rock climbing, running, snowboarding, and hiking.

Elton enjoys treating a variety of patients across all age ranges and injuries. However, he has taken a particular interest in treating patients with Parkinson"s Disease. Due to his own adolescent injury, he understands not only the physical but also the emotional and psychological challenges that can accompany neurological and auto-immune disorders. This unique perspective allows him to connect with patients and treat their injuries on a deeper level.
