Mary Morrison, PT, DScPT, MHS, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy

I have been a physical therapist in the clinic for 40 years, until 2020. My final position of 17 years at the Cleveland Clinic was in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic serving neurologic and geriatric patients. During that time, I taught a twice-weekly upper-level wellness class based on current scientific findings. I loved teaching that class and working with people at various stages of Parkinson"s disease.

I am an expert in osteoporosis and hyperkyphosis. Since 2021, I have been a clinical assistant professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Hanover College. I teach the course that includes Parkinson"s disease and other neurological conditions.

I also have a home on Longboat Key, Florida, and plan to spend some winter months there, where I will educate on exercise and the aging population, regardless of diagnosis.

I am an involved grandmother of three and love to hike, run, paddle board, and pickleball. I also love movies, reading, modern dance, and many types of music.
