I graduated from PT school in 2004 from Chapman University. I started my career working in pediatrics for about 8 years and I absolutely loved it. Then I had my own children and needed more flexible hours so I transitioned to home health. I have been doing home health for the past 10 years on the Central Coast of California working mostly with the geriatric population with various neurological diagnoses, balance disorders, and general decline due to aging. Being able to make a difference in how people function in their everyday lives is so rewarding. I can honestly say though I think many times my clients teach me more than I teach them! I completed the PWR!Moves certification because I felt that I was underserving my clients with Parkinson"s and wanted to be able to do more! Being a PWR!Moves certified therapist provides me with the tools and knowledge I need to help those with Parkinson"s live their best life.
