Nina Kelly, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, CIDN

Nina is a practicing physical therapist at Ohio University in Athens, OH. Nina received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami, and completed her Orthopedic Residency in 2019 and Manual Therapy Fellowship in 2020 at THE Ohio State. Nina performed her fellowship research on low back pain and dry needling and has been practicing dry needling for nearly 5 years utilizing the Integrative Dry Needling System. She has lectured on many topics including introductory orthopedic classes, dry needling, as well as topics like gymnastics for the performing arts and ACL reconstructions and kinesiophobia. Nina"s most recent lecture was at the OPTA for utilizing dry needling to reduce tone, improve functional mobility and reduce tremoring in Patients with Parkinson"s Disease. Although Nina is a sports PT by day, she spends two times a week with the Parkinsons Exercise Program through the Ohio University teaching group fitness classes.
